The cub reporter

I cut my teeth as a journalist while working for The Varsity, which is the University of Toronto’s largest, student-run, tri-campus publication. I worked there in many roles, starting as copy-editor and went on to reporting and writing opinion/ comment pieces as well as lengthy, unique features for the weekly newspaper and the biannual Varsity Magazine.

I worked there from September 2014 to February 2018, gaining invaluable newsroom experience and insight into the print and digital news ecosystems.
