FAQs

Do you offer freelance services? What are your terms of business?

Yes, I do. I offer freelance copywriting, ghostwriting, layout design, and editorial production services. I am actively looking for freelance work at present.

I draft a formal agreement after accepting an assignment, usually after the preliminary discussion meeting or phone call. This identifies the project goals (eg. an audio ad script) , project timelines (eg. 2 weeks), the fee for the project ( eg. 250 dollars for 5 hours of work, at 50 dollars per hour), and the method of payment (eg. cheque, Direct Deposit). The client (you) and I sign it and are bound by its terms. I always provide a copy of the signed agreement to the client.

I provide an invoice before receiving a payment, and issue a receipt once it has been deposited. I also reserve the right to display the completed assignment/ project in my portfolio.

What types of opportunities/ collaborations are you looking for?

I am looking for opportunities in the media, marketing, and communications fields, ideally in Toronto. That said, I am open to moving to another Canadian city for work!

I am also open to freelance reporting work, having reported topics like university mental health initiatives in the past. I am a Toronto native and am always on the lookout for interesting food, culture, and business stories.

I am also actively contract or permanent Copywriter and Proposal Writer roles roles within established organizations, small, medium, or large .

Are you bilingual?

I am a native English speaker with moderate French writing, reading, and speaking skills.

Do you use Chat GPT? Or any other Large Language Model (such as Google’s Bard A.I)?

I know how to use Chat GPT and its peer platforms, having always believed in staying on top of relevant professional tech, but I do not use it to think of or research the creative concepts that back the best campaigns.
